Hope all is splendiferous widjoo.

I have virtually no engagement with Facebook. I'm not on it in any capacity, largely because I have serious problems with their lack of respect for their user base, and I don't trust them as far as I could throw a fit.

You have to have a personal profile even for a podcast page? Well, I can always lie. Podrunner itself has no privacy to protect. What has always stopped me is (a) I have no idea what kind of page it should have (Fan page? Celebrity page? Corporate page? Do they tell you the difference? No, that would be cheating), and (b) you can't play or download the podcast from there, so who cares?

I haven't ruled it out — but I've yet to see the incentive. I most definitely am interested if you guys are coming up with audio play/download possibilities.

Thanks for getting back to me!

I totally hear you regarding Facebook. It is a love it or hate it sort of thing, and you cannot even create a Page if you don't have a personal profile 🙁

They change things ALL THE TIME. I'll be posting a bit more about Facebook here very soon. You should check out that upcoming post. Part of it is your own preferences, do you feel comfortable in Facebook and are your peeps there? Bottom line, if you are not up for it, you are not gonna put the time in necessary and it seems more like a hassle than anything else, I'd skip it. It sorta is a requirement that you invest some time into the platform as a whole 🙁

I'm there cause most of my peeps are there. I get about 75% engagement from Facebook, much more than on my blog or on twitter, so I'm cool with it. Plus I am comfortable there, although often times frustrated as all get out.

We (libysn) are still trying to figure out the best way to play audio ourselves!!! Working on that for you guys as well!

Great to hear from you!

Facebook itself remains utterly opaque — you pretty much have to join before you can get any information, and their utter inability (or perhaps refusal) to explain the differences between their types of pages is mystifying.
